The day started off with one of the best signers out there, Jessica Chastain. I seriously hope she wins the Oscar as it would only be fitting that someone who gave the performance she did plus who is this damn nice walks away with the award.
Then came a truly great couple minutes. Steven Spielberg, who does not sign that often but man when he does, came over and proceeded to sign damn near 300 autographs total and I got my fair share and considering I didn't expect him to sign this day this truly started the day off fantastically!
This now has Steven and C. Thomas Howell on it.
Now have Steven and Martin Scorsese on this.
There were 2 actors I wanted this day the most and one was Joaquin Phoenix. He is rare and I am a huge fan of Walk The Line and was in second heaven after he came over and I was able to get as many as I did!
Complete and going in my personal collection!
Going in my personal collection!
Complete!
Then came the other actor I wanted the most, Christoph Waltz. Being the huge fan of Tarantino I am, I had a ridiculous number of photos for this guy and he walked right to me and stood right in front of me and I got quite a bit of them done but honestly still have alot more for him!
Complete!
This now has Christoph, Robert Carradine, Walton Goggins, Kerry Washington, Don Johnson, Jamie Foxx and Quentin Tarantino on it.
Cinematographer Janusz Kaminski came over and I added him to my Saving Private Ryan which also has Matt Damon and Tom Sizemore on it.
Lucy Alibar, the writer, and Benh Zeitlin, the director of Beasts of The Southern Wild, came over and I got both of them on a cast shot.
Sally Field didn't sign on the way in but on the way out she signed a ton and I got all 3 of my photos signed by her.
Ben Affleck, quite possibly the most inconsistent signer in Hollywood, came over to sign and I was able to get all my photos signed as it doesn't take Ben long to sign his graph which is usually just a B!
While it didn't surprise me that Amy Adams signed, it did surprise me how much she signed. She signed for a solid couple minutes and I left with more graphs of her than I had expected to.
Ang Lee, who I hope wins Best Director at the Oscars for Life of Pi (which is a brilliant film and you need to see it if you haven't) came over to sign and I got him on both photos I had.
David O Russell signed and I added him to my Silver Linings Playbook cast shot which also has Jacki Weaver on it.
The director of Les Miserables, Tom Hooper, signed and I added him to my cast shot which already has Eddie Redmayne on it.
David Silverman, and animator and director of many of The Simpsons episodes, came over to sign and he drew 2 sketches for me!
Finally, to end the day, Jacki Weaver signed and I was able to get her to sign both of the photos I had for her.
wow, that's a good day
