Lena is not in Hollywood very often so I had to try for her last night as she has always been nice to her fans and she is still the same.
Me and the other approx. 20 people there tried to get her to come over on the way in (it was cold, damn wind!) but she said the way out and when she was done she came right over and signed everything and I got my 5 done and the photo op. She made it a great night even though Kentucky star freshman Anthony Davis decided to ignore us and not sign any autographs.
I started this day off going for Christopher Walken and Lana Del Ray and didn't get Walken but ended up getting Pacino who I didn't even know was going to be there. Only in Hollywood.
As I was waiting for Walken I saw Pacino pull up and I quickly (and I mean QUICKLY) pulled my Scarface cast piece and got him to sign it. On the way out he rolled down and signed as well and I got 2 more. Any day where I get 3 Pacino autographs is a damn good day to me.
Hours later and still waiting for Walken I spot Lana get out of a Ford Taurus (?!!?) and ask her to sign and I got 2 done and then on the way out (couple hours later) I got 2 more.
Fisher Stevens arrived with Pacino but then left on his own and I added him to both of my LOST cast photos.
Jaime King showed up and I added her to my Blow cast piece. When she was leaving they backed her car in due to the many paparazzi now there but she was still kind enough to roll down and sign for me.
David Denman also showed up and I added him to both of my Fanboys cast pieces.
I used to watch Grey's Anatomy but to me it's never been the same since Kate Walsh left so to do this event and Kate cancel was definitely a bummer and once again no photo op with Kerry Washington!
I did however get 2 photos signed by Kerry and got the 2nd one done only because my friend got turned down by her on his photo so he grabbed one of mine and got it signed for me. And, to top it off, he knows how much I like her so he gave me the photo of her that she refused to sign as well (and let me tell you its a nice photo!)
Kadee Strickland, who I didn't know who she was and honestly still don't, signed and I got both photos done.
The last time I saw Ellen Pompeo was one of the stranger celeb encounters I've had in quite some time (as she literally yelled at multiple people there and kept threatening to just walk away as she just stood there signing autographs.) This night was different. She signed everything and didn't threaten a single person!
One last thing before I go: thank you to Sandra Oh for once again not signing an autograph! She is in the running for one of the worst signers of this year. Keep it up Sandra! Keep it UP!
I knew not to many people knew about this premiere but I still figured more than 2 people would show up but it ended up just being me and a friend and it went rather well for me.
Right off the bat Kate Bosworth showed up and did one each and I got a photo op with her (well, actually 2 since my friend apparently couldn't work a camera so I did one myself.) She then went in and did the red carpet and then literally left ten minutes later and when she came back out I got another photo signed. Not a bad way to start this premiere.
Krysten Ritter was next and I got 2 signed on the way in as of course she said she was late but on the way out I got 5 more signed, including adding her to my Breaking Bad cast shots.
Abby Brammell, who I used to love watching on the great but short lived TV show, The Unit, showed up and woe is me I didn't have any photos for her but I did manage to get the photo op.
James Van Der Beek showed up to support Krysten and I got a photo with him.
TACO!!! I must admit that as much grief as the cast of The League has given me when it comes to them signing I do love the show and Jon Lajoie showed up and I thankfully had a photo for him in my car which I was able to get done. He was really cool this night so I think he might be like a lot of celebrities who don't like to sign in crowds.
Arielle Kebbel was another celeb I had no idea would be here but I had photos for her in my car and she was nice enough to sign them all. When she signed my True Blood photos she said it was the first time she had ever been asked to sign True Blood and loved it and she even took a picture of one of them with her phone camera!
