White House Down Trailer With Jamie Foxx and Channing Tatum!

I am a huge fan of Jamie Foxx. In fact, I think you can argue he is the most talented man in Hollywood. I didn't think I would like this trailer or maybe want to cause of Mr Tatum being in it who I am not a fan of but I have to admit it looks good. Still, Jamie should of gotten top billing over Channing!

WORST.PREMIERE.EVER. Gi Joe Retaliation

I will never watch this movie. EVER! The premiere was a nightmare and the way many in this cast acted just soured me on watching this crap. The Rock has apparently got so famous that his time is too precious to spend with fans. Bruce Willis probably signed more than The Rock but kept skipping HUGE sections of people so he could just walk in front of them so they could see he is cooler than them. Adrianne Palicki didn't sign a single autograph all night. Neither did Joseph Mazzello. Even the few who did had to practically be begged to sign. When a celebrity or a cast of a movie or show is really nice it makes me a fan of them and makes me want to watch them. Well the exact opposite is true and Gi Joe Retaliation is DEAD TO ME!

2 Guns Trailer with Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg!

I personally dont think that Denzel ever makes a bad movie as he is such a great actor it is always worth seeing just to see him and this trailer has me excited. The director is Baltasar Kormakur who directed Wahlberg in Contraband so he knows how to do action now just need to see how he works with one of the greats. I will be there in the theater when this comes out!

How Vince Vaughn made my Worst Signers list!

Vince Vaughn... you know him, you love him (or maybe not), you think he's funny (at least he used to be) but one thing is for sure... he is not good to fans.

The other night he happened to show up to an event and on the way in I was the only person with a photo for him and with him standing 5 feet from me he wouldn't sign. On the way out, there were maybe 3 people with photos and a girl asking for a photo with. He stood 5 feet from us for a couple minutes and then made his way towards us only to make a b-line right for his car, jump in it and speed away. If this guy won't sign this low key the odds of him signing in other scenarios is slim. Congrats Vince on making my worst signers list!

Aidan Gillen AKA Tommy Carcetti of The Wire! Autographs! Photos!

The Wire is hands down the greatest TV show I've ever seen. Anytime I get a chance to see any of the cast members is a big deal to me. Don't care if I have seen them 20 times or never. The other night Aidan was out and so was I with my Wire photos and he was nice enough to stop and sign for a bunch of us and I got all of mine done.

Bella Thorne of Disney's Shake It Up! Autographs! Photos!

There was a time not to long ago when Bella was one of the best signers in Hollywood. Not so much anymore. While she does still sign it isn't much and if she can avoid it she will. The other night she was out and I managed to get 2 from her.

Its Mary Jane Watson of Spiderman, Kirsten Dunst! Autographs! Photos!

I have always been a fan of Kirsten Dunst. For quite some time she was not a good signer but she has gotten much better over the past year so I decided to go for her and it worked out even though she made us work for it. On the way in she said she would sign on the way out and when we all asked again she once again said she would sign on the way out and promised to do it. So, about ten minutes after she went in, I spotted her leaving out the side door so we all went there and when we got up to her security was saying no but she said no, its ok, and signed and I got 3.

It's Arthur Frobisher of Damages, Ted Danson! Autograph! Photo!

I have to admit I have become a big fan of the TV show Damages (though I didn't particulary care for season 4) and was excited to see Ted the other night and get him on my Damages cast shot I just started. I was real impressed with his work on the show and he is a huge character so its one down now!

Compliance - My Review

Compliance  -  2012  -  Directed by Craig Zobel

There are dozens of horror films that come out every year that never elicit a scare out of me. Compliance, on the other hand, terrified me. It is deeply disturbing and depicts the subservience to power that so many people adhere to and presents a humanity many of us wish and would prefer to believe didn't exist.

Ann Dowd stars as Sandra, a middle aged manager of a fast food restaurant who believes in order and is shocked if others don't. When her restaurant runs out of pickles and bacon she is surprised that her employees, all teenagers, laugh about it and shrug it off. She believes that they believe in her cause of her position. One of the clerks, Becky (Dreama Walker), begins to whisper about her and she listens not to get Becky in trouble but to make sure Becky likes her.

A phone call comes in. It is a police officer, or so Sandra believes. He tells her that Becky stole from a customer about an hour ago and they have it on videotape. He tells her to get Becky and hold her until the police come. Sandra does as told and it sets in motion some of the most jaw dropping human behavior I've ever seen on film. Its also based on a true story (I looked it up online and apparently everything in the movie ACTUALLY happened. No artistic license. The story was also covered by major news networks when it happened.) The kicker is, the "police officer" is not real. He is just impersonating one. No one ever questions him until finally one man decides this is not right.

Meanwhile, Becky is held against her will and subjected to a strip search, mentally tortured and ordered to do sexual acts by the "police officer." That everyone, much less anyone in this film, would do everything as they are told is disturbing. Sandra never questions the police officer. Never asks what precinct he is in, his badge number, how he got the videotape, nothing. At one point, when her fiance clearly does not want to be involved, she scolds him for not obeying.

Everyone reacts to authority differently. Sandra blindly obeys. Becky protests but gives in rather easily rather than facing the consequences of bucking authority. Sandra's fiance eventually relents when he realizes the "police officer" has beholden him with so much power. A couple other employees whisper that this possibly isn't right but go on about their job as in the end it doesn't affect them.

Don't get me wrong. Compliance is well made and well acted. I wish Director Zobel had held the reveal longer and made the audience question themselves about whether they knew this was a facade rather than watching it with utter contempt of the characters as I did and many others (there are many reports of people walking out of the theater when they watched this.) This is not a side of humanity I wish to watch. If it is your thing then enjoy. I for one didn't.

Revenge W Emily VanCamp, Christa B Allen, Gabriel Mann and MORE! Autographs! Photos! Video!

I thought I would try my luck with this and see if I could finish a cast shot (no such luck) plus Emily is not an easy graph and she is only going to become a bigger star now that she has been cast in the new Captain America movie so I figured why not.

Henry Czerny aka How is your car running?! arrived first and came over to sign and provided me with a true WTF moment. As he was signing I held out my photo and he stopped, looked right at me and said how is your car running?! Now, I had never met him so I had no idea what he was talking about. I even told him I think he has me mistaken for someone else and yet he still asked me the same question!

Barry Sloane arrived next and I added him to my cast shots.

Nick Wechsler came next and I just had cast shots and added him to all of those.

Gabriel Mann, who is a pretty damn good signer, showed up and proceeded to spend alot of time with fans signing everything and taking pics.

Christa B Allen, another really good signer, arrived and signed plenty and I added her to my cast shots and got a pic with her and took some video of her.

Conor Paolo arrived and I got him on my cast shots.

Ashley Madekwe and Madeleine Stowe arrived and neither signed. (Ashley did sign on departures but I didn't stay for them) Then came Emily and she waved and went on in and that was that. Many of the fans left and I was on my way to leave when something amazing happened. Emily came walking out of the event and came right on up to us to sign. Now she is normally one each and was trying to do one each but I had some help as my wife came to meet me and she helped me get a couple so it turned out I was able to get quite a few Emily's.

I got everyone on this but Madeleine and Ashley.

I need Ashley, Emily and Madeleine on this.

I got Josh Bowman, Conor Paolo, Christa B Allen, Nick Wechsler, Gabriel Mann and Barry Sloane on this.

Once Upon a Time W Ginnifer Goodwin, Emilie De Ravin and Robert Carlyle! Autographs! Photos!

I went to this just for Emilie and Robert and got both so it was worth it I just didn't realize how crazy it was going to be. On the way in Ginnifer and Emilie came over and I got photos of them signed so inside the event all I needed to get was Robert and thank god cause it was murderer's row inside. It was 4 to 5 rows deep of people pushing, shoving, clawing, anything to get a graph.

Anyways, as I said Ginnifer came over on the way in and I had 3 for her and got them done easily. This kinda surprised me as she isn't always the nicest but was super friendly here.

Emilie came over as well which made me happy as I needed her on some LOST cast pieces and I was able to get her on those.

That was it for arrivals so I headed into the event and once it was over I went directly for Robert Carlyle and was able to get him on everything I had.

I now have Robert, Ginnifer, Josh Dallas, Lana Parrilla and Raphael Sbarge on this.
